Corts Motion Graphics Package
The Challenge
When Corts approached me, they were about to launch an Instagram profile and YouTube channel for their new platform. Their platform was aimed at sharing stories and elevating female athletes.

The founders had invested significant resources into this project because they recognized the opportunity for young female athletes to establish themselves and advocate for their success. A platform like this would help female athletes thrive and attract more sponsorships.

The investors needed to see high-quality content to validate their investment. Therefore, Corts required impressive motion graphics that would effectively showcase products, along with lower thirds, titles, and transitions for their videos. This would not only impress potential investors but also ensure consistent branding and help them build a substantial following.

They reached out to me because they felt that my work on "Emily in Paris" resonated with their target demographic of women aged 15 to 24 and exemplified high-quality, clean design. They wanted animations that were both fun and youthful, yet sophisticated.
Creative Process
Considering their needs, I began searching for design references that aligned with the style they desired and adhered to their branding guidelines.

I carefully studied their brand guide to ensure my decisions supported their vision. I explored Behance and created a mood board featuring designs that would serve as inspiration for my designs.

In addition to finding visual designs, I also focused on motion—examining the speed, rhythm, and easing to fully capture the spirit they aimed to achieve.

Design
I created storyboards and got approval from the client before moving on to animation. I sent them three different design options to choose from.
Option 1
This fun, poppy, graphic style is designed to attract younger viewers.
Option 2
I used makeup textures to create unique graphics that would stand out from other content.
Option 3
Solution
In the end, they decided on Option 1 because they believed it would best support their content and appeal to their target audience. 

After making the requested refinements to the designs, I imported them into After Effects for animation. I drew inspiration from the animation examples I had found, adjusting the easing and rhythm until it felt just right.

After only a few rounds of revisions, I delivered 94 individual graphics including:
+ Title Cards
+ Lower Thirds
+ Effects
+ End Cards
+ Product Cards
+ Transitions

In addition, I sent the client an After Effects toolkit for their editor. The editor could use this toolkit to create an unlimited amount of graphics for all of their content.
Results
After one month of going live on Instagram and YouTube, Corts has gained 1243 Instagram followers, 418,000 views, 14,701 likes, and 1764 YouTube views.
